A Bitcoin address beginning with bc1qln transferred 4,500 BTC, valued near $381 million at the time, after more than four years without moving its principal balance.
The source address can be reviewed through the Arkham explorer record. Lookonchain identified the transaction during the September 25 session. Looking for smartmoney onchain
The address had received small transactions after its original accumulation, but the large principal position remained untouched. The transfer therefore represents a genuine dormancy break rather than routine movement from an active wallet.
No verified public attribution connects the address with an exchange, company, fund or identifiable individual. The destination also has not been shown to be an exchange deposit.
A transfer can represent custody migration, wallet consolidation, an over-the-counter settlement, collateral movement or preparation for sale. Blockchain data confirms that the coins moved, not the owner’s economic intent.
TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT
The movement passes Token Recon’s transaction-verification threshold but not the attribution threshold.
Market participants should not label it a sale unless the coins reach a known exchange, become connected with derivative hedging or are accompanied by an attributable disclosure.
Watch destination activity, address clustering and any subsequent transfer into identified exchange infrastructure.
