Webull will offer perpetual futures to eligible U.S. customers starting in November, beginning with crypto-linked contracts. The products will be listed on KalshiEX, a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated designated contract market, and cleared through Kalshi Klear, a regulated derivatives clearing organization, according to Webull’s announcement.
Perpetual futures have no fixed expiry and use recurring funding or adjustment mechanisms to keep prices aligned with an underlying market. They are central to offshore crypto trading but have not been broadly available through regulated U.S. retail platforms. Webull plans to make them available inside existing futures accounts to customers who satisfy eligibility requirements.
The move extends Kalshi’s May launch of U.S.-regulated perpetual contracts. It also places a mainstream brokerage distribution layer over infrastructure that has so far been better known for event contracts. Reuters independently confirmed the November plan and the crypto-first rollout.
Commercial terms still matter. Webull has not published the initial contract list, leverage limits, funding methodology or customer-loss controls. Broader availability is expected before year-end, but a planned date is not evidence of trading depth or execution quality.
TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT
The consequential change is distribution. A regulated contract can remain niche until a brokerage with an established customer base puts it inside a familiar account. November will test whether U.S. traders adopt perpetuals when the venue, clearing structure and leverage rules differ from offshore exchanges. Contract specifications and early open interest are the first confirmation signals.
