Bitcoin ETF Inflows Return, but Recover Only 14% of the Prior Two-Day Exit

U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $110.3 million of net inflows on Monday, according to Farside Investors. The entire reported amount went to BlackRock’s IBIT, while the other tracked products were flat.

The positive session followed $635.6 million of net outflows on 22 October and $137.9 million on 23 October. Token Recon calculates that Monday’s inflow recovered 14.3% of the combined $773.5 million withdrawn during those two sessions. The calculation uses Farside’s daily net-flow totals and does not include intraday creations, redemptions or trading volume. Farside Investors

Bitcoin was near $79,690 at 04:56 EDT, down about 0.7% over the preceding session and still below $80,000. Ether traded near $2,308, solana near $99.69 and XRP near $1.30. The ETF reversal therefore did not produce a confirmed price breakout before the U.S. session.

The Federal Open Market Committee meets on 27 and 28 October. With one institution accounting for Monday’s entire net inflow and bitcoin still below the nearby round-number threshold, the data support a stabilization reading, not a broad allocation surge.

TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT

Monday interrupted the outflow streak but did not repair it. A durable change would require positive flows across more than one issuer and price acceptance above $80,000 after the Fed decision. A return to net redemptions, especially from IBIT, would invalidate the stabilization case quickly.
