Bitget completed the second scheduled stage of its withdrawal restoration Tuesday, reopening ETH withdrawals across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Base and Optimism at 08:00 UTC. Bitget ETH withdrawal announcement
Bitcoin withdrawals reopened one day earlier following last week’s approximately $387.5 million breach.
Bitget reported that during the first hour after ETH withdrawals resumed, approximately 9,674 ETH flowed into the exchange while 9,023 ETH left, producing a net inflow of roughly 651 ETH. Those are Bitget’s figures and represent only the first hour, not an independently audited full-day flow measurement. The Crypto Times
The next scheduled stage is USDT withdrawals at 08:00 UTC on September 30 across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and Tron. Other tokens, fiat withdrawals and P2P services are scheduled for October 2. Bitget
Bitget maintains that the vulnerability involved in the attack has been identified and remediated. Independent cybersecurity firms Mandiant and SlowMist remain involved in the investigation, and a formal security report is still expected. Bitget

The significant update is operational rather than forensic.
Two major withdrawal phases have now reopened on schedule. The first-hour ETH net inflow is interesting, but it is too narrow a window to establish broader customer confidence.
USDT is the more consequential next test because stablecoins sit at the center of exchange liquidity. Successful restoration across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Tron on September 30 would move Bitget substantially closer to normal operations.
The forensic question remains separate. Restoring withdrawals can demonstrate operational recovery. It does not establish precisely how the September 24 compromise occurred or whether every relevant security weakness has been independently verified as closed.
