Bitget Says All Suspended Withdrawals and Fiat Services Are Restored

Bitget says it has completed the phased restoration of services suspended after its September 24 security incident.

The exchange’s October 2 service announcement states that withdrawals for tokens other than BTC, ETH and USDT have resumed. Fiat and customer-to-customer services are also available again. BTC, ETH and USDT withdrawals had returned during earlier stages of the recovery. Bitget Support Center

This is a material update to Token Recon’s October 2 morning report, which noted that the final restoration deadline had passed while several services remained unavailable. Bitget now says the complete phased-resumption plan has been executed.

Operational restoration does not establish whether every incident-related vulnerability has been eliminated, whether all affected customers have been made whole, or whether an independent security review has been completed. Bitget’s announcement provides no new forensic report, wallet reconciliation or external audit.

TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT

The service outage has moved from active disruption to post-incident accountability. The next meaningful evidence is not another status notice, but a complete incident report covering the entry point, affected systems, asset losses, customer remediation and the controls changed after September 24.

Users should continue verifying withdrawal addresses and avoiding unsolicited recovery messages. Service restoration periods often create opportunities for impersonators claiming to accelerate delayed withdrawals.
