U.S. authorities have seized more than $560,000 in cryptocurrency as part of an investigation into digital fundraising linked to Hamas.
The Justice Department said the operation also targeted websites, servers and communications infrastructure allegedly used to solicit and process donations.
Investigators were able to trace cryptocurrency transfers associated with the fundraising network, reinforcing the growing role of blockchain analytics in financial investigations.

Enforcement agencies are becoming increasingly sophisticated at turning that transparency into actionable intelligence.
