Pump.fun’s native token, PUMP, climbed to a two-month high after gaining more than 23%, making it the strongest performer among the top 100 cryptocurrencies.
The rally accelerated after crypto trader Ansem disclosed a position in PUMP, citing Pump.fun’s revenue generation and the likelihood that Solana will continue attracting retail traders during the current market cycle. The token rose from the $0.0016 area to an intraday high of $0.00207, its highest level since May.
The advance also followed renewed activity around meme coin launches on Pump.fun, including the rapid rise of Jimothy (JIMOTHY), which helped drive trading volumes across the platform.
Market Context
Pump.fun’s performance remains closely tied to activity across the Solana ecosystem.
The platform has continued generating substantial protocol revenue despite weaker market conditions, making it one of the more active on-chain applications during the current cycle. If retail participation continues to recover, Pump.fun could remain one of the primary beneficiaries as new token creation and speculative trading increase.
Ansem also pointed to the potential impact of a future token airdrop, drawing comparisons with Jito and Jupiter, whose distributions helped increase liquidity and on-chain participation across Solana in late 2023.
After Ansem(@blknoiz06) bought $PUMP with 1,500 $SOL($115K), trader 0xbf73 opened a 10x long on 764.14M $PUMP($1.53M).

Intelligence Assessment
The latest rally reflects renewed confidence in Solana’s retail trading ecosystem rather than a shift in Pump.fun’s fundamentals alone.
For PUMP to extend higher, activity on the platform will need to remain elevated and translate into sustained revenue rather than short-lived speculation. Continued growth in token launches and trading volume would strengthen that case.
The key level to watch is $0.0014. A move below that area would weaken the current recovery structure, while holding above it would keep buyers in control as attention returns to Solana-based meme coins.
