U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds recorded $24.8 million in weekly net outflows, ending a 14-week inflow streak that was the longest since the products launched in October 2025.
The Block’s analysis of SoSoValue data shows outflows in all five sessions, also a record for the category. The weekly loss was almost three times the previous record of $8.9 million set in February.
Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $20.9 million, or about 84% of the Solana category’s redemptions. Morgan Stanley’s MSOL and Invesco’s QSOL were the only funds with weekly inflows, totaling approximately $2 million.
The reversal was part of a wider institutional retreat. Ether funds lost $542.1 million, extending their run to nine consecutive negative sessions. Bitcoin funds shed $681.1 million and ended three positive weeks. Across Bitcoin, Ether and Solana products, the weekly net withdrawal was approximately $1.25 billion.
Solana fund assets fell from $1.90 billion to $1.73 billion. Part of that decline reflects market prices rather than redemptions alone. The products still held approximately $1.58 billion in cumulative net inflows, including $816.8 million during 2026.
TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT
Solana’s first negative week in more than three months is a material change in institutional flow, but not evidence of abandonment. The stronger signal is synchronization: Bitcoin, Ether and Solana products all lost assets in the same week. A resumption of Solana creations while BTC and ETH remain negative would indicate asset-specific demand. Continued outflows across all three would confirm broader de-risking.
