Intelligence Brief
Dogechain continued producing blocks after its announced 12:00 UTC shutdown deadline on 8 August.
The official remote procedure call endpoint returned block 62,578,500 immediately before the deadline and block 62,578,578 with a timestamp of 12:01:52 UTC. The explorer later displayed additional blocks attributed to multiple miner addresses.
Continued block production proves that part of the network remained operational. It does not establish that every application, bridge or liquidity service continued working.
⚠️ Important Notice:
Dogechain will officially shut down on Saturday, August 8 at 12:00 PM UTC.
All users and liquidity providers are advised to immediately withdraw any assets held on Dogechain prior to this date and time.

Dogechain’s bridge interface remained visible and displayed 2,081,715.83 DOGE as its current on-chain balance. No successful withdrawal after the deadline was independently verified. The displayed balance also does not identify how much belongs to users or remains recoverable.
QuickSwap’s Dogechain-specific route redirected to Polygon, leaving its normal Dogechain swap and liquidity interface unavailable through that route.
Dogechain is an Ethereum-compatible network separate from the Dogecoin blockchain. Its shutdown does not mean that Dogecoin itself stopped operating.
Strategic Assessment
The network entered a fragmented state: blocks continued, but the user exit path remained uncertain.
Validators or miners can keep a chain alive without the original operator maintaining bridge infrastructure, interfaces or application support. Users holding bridged DOGE or liquidity positions carry the risk because block production alone cannot redeem externally backed assets.
The displayed 2.08 million DOGE should not be described as confirmed trapped user funds. Recovery depends on bridge control, contract operation and access to the backing assets.
