Intelligence Brief
U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs attracted nearly three times more capital than spot Bitcoin ETFs last week, pointing to a shift in institutional positioning across crypto investment products.
Weekly net inflows reached approximately $103.9 million for Ethereum ETFs, compared with $33.79 million for Bitcoin ETFs. Other spot crypto ETFs also posted positive flows, with Solana recording $7.2 million and XRP adding $8.15 million.
The divergence comes as investors increase exposure to Ethereum while maintaining more measured allocations to Bitcoin.

Strategic Assessment
ETF flows suggest institutions are expanding beyond Bitcoin rather than reducing crypto exposure.
Ethereum’s stronger inflows indicate growing confidence in its role as the leading smart contract network, particularly as tokenization, stablecoins, and on-chain financial infrastructure continue to gain traction. Bitcoin remains the dominant institutional asset, but recent capital flows show investors are broadening allocations across digital assets with different use cases.
If the trend persists, Ethereum could continue outperforming Bitcoin in institutional fund flows. A reversal, however, would indicate investors are rotating back toward Bitcoin as the primary destination for new capital.
