The completed U.S. crypto ETF tape for 12 through 16 October shows approximately $594.08 million in net withdrawals across the tracked products. Bitcoin funds lost $225.08 million over the five sessions, while Ether funds lost $320.02 million, based on the finalized weekly aggregation published by Crypto ETF.
Friday’s close extended the pressure. Farside Investors recorded a net $82.4 million withdrawal from spot Bitcoin ETFs on 16 October, consisting of $71.8 million from BlackRock’s IBIT and $10.6 million from Fidelity’s FBTC. Farside’s separate tables showed $69.7 million leaving Ether products and $12.7 million leaving Solana products that day.
The cross-asset weekly table also recorded $25.52 million of net Solana outflows, $17.93 million from Zcash products and $17.58 million from Hyperliquid products. NEAR and Chainlink were the exceptions, with estimated weekly inflows of $11.65 million and $2.75 million respectively. These are fund-flow measurements, not a direct measure of all spot demand or an explanation for price movement.
At scan time, Bitcoin traded near $81,600 after ranging between roughly $80,800 and $82,800 during the preceding session. Ether was near $2,430. The price response remained orderly relative to the weekly withdrawals, but the completed data show that institutional wrappers were a source of net supply rather than support.
Methodology: Token Recon used the provider’s reported daily net flows for 12 through 16 October and the published weekly sums. Crypto ETF states that its dataset operates on a T+1 basis and may later be revised. Farside was used to confirm the final U.S. Bitcoin, Ether and Solana session totals. The analysis does not infer investor identity, motivation or secondary-market execution from fund flows alone.
TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT
Ether absorbed the largest weekly redemption total even though Bitcoin remained the market’s main price anchor. The next meaningful test is whether Monday brings renewed creations or a fourth consecutive session of broad redemptions. Continued withdrawals alongside a loss of Bitcoin’s $80,800 intraday low would convert a contained fund-flow retreat into a more consequential demand failure.
