Jimothy (JIMOTHY), one of Solana’s fastest-rising meme coins last week, has surrendered much of its recent gains after its market capitalization dropped from roughly $12 million to below $6 million.
According to Dexscreener data, the token has fallen nearly 60% over the past 24 hours, erasing a large portion of the rally that briefly made it one of the network’s most discussed meme coins.
The decline comes just days after Jimothy attracted heavy speculative trading across the Pump.fun ecosystem.
Is The Jimothy Hype Over? $Jimothy The Raccoon became the trending meme on @Solana last week after hitting a $12M market cap on pump dot fun.
However, like every other memecoin, the hype seems to have died down.

Market Context
Rapid expansion followed by equally sharp corrections has become a familiar pattern across Solana’s meme coin market.
Most of the early demand was driven by momentum traders rather than sustained liquidity. As buying activity slowed, market capitalization contracted quickly and profit-taking accelerated the decline.
Jimothy’s pullback also comes as attention across the Solana ecosystem rotates toward larger, more established assets after last week’s speculative burst.
Intelligence Assessment
Jimothy’s correction reflects how quickly capital can rotate within the meme coin sector.
A 50-60% decline shortly after reaching a new valuation does not necessarily end the project’s cycle, but it does indicate that speculative demand has weakened considerably. Any recovery would likely require fresh trading volume and renewed community attention rather than technical support alone.
Until buying activity returns, Jimothy remains a high-volatility asset where sentiment can shift far faster than fundamentals. The next few trading sessions will determine whether this is a standard post-rally reset or the end of the token’s first major momentum cycle.
