U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $998.95 million in net inflows Monday, the strongest single trading day since October 6, 2025. The scale of the buying changes the interpretation of Bitcoin’s move through $85,000 because regulated investment products were accumulating heavily while short sellers were being forced out. The Block, Spot bitcoin ETFs attract nearly $1 billion in largest daily inflow in 11 months
BlackRock’s IBIT led the session with $381.4 million. Ark and 21Shares’ ARKB added $289.1 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $238.8 million. Grayscale, Bitwise and Morgan Stanley products also finished positive.
The $999 million total exceeded the net inflow accumulated across the entire previous week. CoinDesk independently reported the session as the ninth-largest daily inflow since U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs began trading. CoinDesk, Spot bitcoin ETFs attracted nearly $1 billion on Monday
Ethereum participated as well. U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded approximately $269.98 million in net inflows, their largest single-day total since October 7, 2025. Institutional demand therefore broadened beyond Bitcoin during the rally.
Bitcoin briefly traded above $87,000 Monday before consolidating in the mid $86,000 area Tuesday. The market had already removed more than $800 million in bearish leverage during the breakout, making the ETF data an important confirmation that the advance was not solely mechanical short covering.
TOKEN RECON ASSESSMENT
This is the strongest confirmation signal behind Bitcoin’s breakout.
Short squeezes can move price rapidly, but nearly $1 billion entering regulated Bitcoin funds represents a separate source of demand.
The next intelligence target is persistence. One extraordinary ETF session can accelerate momentum. Several consecutive high-inflow sessions would indicate something more important: institutional allocation returning at scale.
Watch IBIT, FBTC and ARKB flows closely, along with Bitcoin’s ability to defend $85,000.
